Welcome to E-Gora!

This platform was started by a student team at Case Western Reserve University. These students were awarded 2023 ThinkEnergy Fellowships by the Great Lakes Energy Institute and decided to create a grid-focused project for our award term.

The focus of this platform is to facilitate the public’s transition to renewable energy sources. We chose a “bottom-up” approach by targeting consumers, and providing a platform for the average person to participate in renewable energy projects.

On E-Gora a community can propose a project that fits their needs. A landowner can list their state to be used in a solar project. A financier can find a project to support. Solar installation companies and developers can offer estimates based on their production & construction capacity. E-Gora facilitates every step of the process!
